Your New Job
As an NPD process assistant you will be tasked with the following, Participating in the successful delivery of agreed KPIs (critical path, trial success and quality) for new product launches from receipt of concept through to launch, Organising & implementing factory trials and supporting NPD Process Manager, Clearly communicating the outcomes & next steps following factory trials (e.g. new products, raw materials, packaging or processes) to the relevant teams, Accurate completion of all documentation associated with NPD process (e.g. trial documents, sensory evaluation, recipe mix sheets etc.) Using knowledge of factory processes in the development of new products & offering continuous improvement solutions, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively with various cross functional teams to achieve project objectives. Feeding into the costing model with process knowledge and trial results to deliver more accurate costing’s. Understanding product & organoleptic qualities over life and flagging any concerns when standards are not met. Participating in QC & sensory review of products & raw materials. Working alongside other NPD team members, juggling multiple projects to bring new products to life across multiple accounts. Following all H&S, HACCP & BRC requirements during NPD work activities.
